This is a pretty good article about Mitt Romney, the Church, and American perceptions. It is interesting, balanced, and well-researched. I learned a few things, and I like the Times for publishing a piece that does not smear Mormonism.

Great article! Haven't read it all the way through yet since I'm at work- but so far my favorite line is "Elsewhere, the reasons for the aversion to Mormons are harder to pin down — bigotry can be funny that way — but they are certainly not theological." Bigotry can indeed be funny that way!
Good link. I agree, I thought it was a good article that was informative but not misleading, and interesting in that it got to the heart of some of the big questions about why people make such a big deal about us.
