Bottle Shock

Well, I went to see this today... It is pretty funny, pro-America, and has my favorite strange-voiced brit, Alan Rickman. Although it is about wine, which I know nothing about, it was still totally relatable and it's fun to watch people swish wine around in their cheeks. I recommend it!

Unknown said...: Oooohh! I am SO glad that I saw this here. I saw the name playing at the theatre and I thought it was similar to Bottle Rocket with Wes Anderson and Co. But now, looking that it has the Ugly Betty guy and Alan Rickman as I LOVE Alan Rickman to be, and Chris Pine trying to be Brad Pitt from Legends of the Fall....

Pet peeves

The expression "kick (my, your, his, her) trash." You've probably NEVER heard that if you aren't mo. It's akin to "kick (my, your, his, her) butt."
Songs that tell a story (esp. ones that start and end with the same sentence, usually of the country genre)
the phrase "as per usual"
that Nicholas Cage Still has a career, should have ended after "Raising Arizona"
the question "what can I do you for?"
the glare of the sun off cars in mid-day
tights with open-toed shoes
cell phones in public
mis-uses of the words 'there,' 'their,' 'they're' (and similar grammatical errors)
counting new $1 bills
