Rocktoberfest cancelled. Boo.

Unfortunately, Rocktoberfest is off. A member of the headlining band, Sorta, died. Sad days.
In other news, Lost Letters to Santa is playing at The Bone (on the rooftop) in Deep Ellum this Friday night at 8. The roof is way fun, it's breezy and whimsical. The only thing that concerns me personally is the fact that it seems like the floorboards could snap at any moment, leading to my early death on the streets of Deep Ellum.
But, it should be a blast if you are able to get past your fears of dancing through the ceiling! It's like $5 to get in. See y'all there!!

The expression "kick (my, your, his, her) trash." You've probably NEVER heard that if you aren't mo. It's akin to "kick (my, your, his, her) butt."
Songs that tell a story (esp. ones that start and end with the same sentence, usually of the country genre)
the phrase "as per usual"
that Nicholas Cage Still has a career, should have ended after "Raising Arizona"
the question "what can I do you for?"
the glare of the sun off cars in mid-day
tights with open-toed shoes
